The small print
Privacy
We collect the least we can, we use it only to run the wedding, and we delete it afterwards.
What we collect
Only what you type into the RSVP form: your name and surname, whether you are coming, any dietary requirements, and the names of anyone joining you, including children under 12. We do not ask for your email address, your phone number or your postal address, and the form has no way to accept them.
Why we need it
Names go on the seating plan and the place cards. Dietary requirements go to the caterer. The number of children tells us how many places to set at the children’s table. That is the whole of it.
Who can see it
Ian & Chavón, through a password-protected page on this site. The caterer receives a list of names and dietary requirements shortly before the day. Nobody else has access, and we will never sell, publish or share it for any other purpose.
Where it is kept
On this website’s own server, in a single file, reachable only over an encrypted connection. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, loads nothing from third-party services, and does not track you between pages. The only cookie it can set is the login session for the couple’s private replies page, and only for them.
How long we keep it
Until roughly three months after Saturday 13 March 2027, by which point the thank-you cards are written. Then the whole dataset is deleted.
Changing or removing your reply
Message us on WhatsApp and we will change or delete it. There is no account to log into and no password for you to remember.
